Nurse Volunteers– Conduct pregnancy testing, STD testing, and a health screening for the client before the limited ultrasound. Assist the Nurse Manager or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) during the ultrasound session, accompanying the client and their family. Maintain comprehensive documentation by creating a detailed narrative that outlines the specifics of the visit and provides a summary of the ultrasound findings.

RDMS Volunteers– Conduct limited ultrasound exams with a focus on affirming life for each client in a warm and compassionate environment, utilizing effective listening and supportive skills. Ensure accurate identification of crucial factors, including the heartbeat, crown-rump length, and gestational sac, for review and signature by the Medical Director.

Client Advocate- Welcome parenting clients and lead their video classes. Evaluate and discuss worksheets and homework with clients, addressing any questions related to the covered topics. Manage the administration and collection of baby bucks when clients purchase from our Baby Boutique. Offer encouragement and support to clients while providing mentoring as required. Conduct interviews with new parenting clients, outlining the details of the Earn While You Learn program. Client Advocates typically commit to a weekly shift (3-5 hours per day) to build a rapport with recurring clients.

Baby Boutique Assistant– Maintain the Baby Boutique by sorting, washing, and pricing all donated baby/toddler clothing. Thoroughly inspect donated baby items (toys, strollers, etc.) for recalls before cleaning, pricing, and arranging them in the Baby Boutique. Handle the packaging and pricing of diapers. Ensure the Baby Boutique is clean and organized, creating a welcoming environment for all moms and dads to enjoy spending their Baby Bucks.

Post-Abortive Bible Study Facilitator- In response to individuals, both women and men, who are dealing with the aftermath of abortion, we offer a supportive and confidential post-abortive Bible study program. For women, the study is based on Linda Cochrane’s acclaimed Forgiven and Set Free abortion recovery program, while for men, it is Healing a Father’s Heart, also authored by Linda Cochrane. The Post Abortive Bible Study Facilitator is responsible for guiding participants through this study on an individual basis. Comprehensive training is conducted with the Center Director before engaging with clients.

Men of Valor Mentor- The mere presence of a male volunteer in the center conveys a powerful message to our male clients, emphasizing that their involvement is a welcome and normal part of the routine at Grace Place. We offer volunteer opportunities for men as client advocates during regular business hours within our parenting program.

Steps4Life Fundraising Team- The team convenes annually from January to May to coordinate and execute the fundraising walk effectively.

Steps4Life Liaison- The liaison is a vital fundraising team member, actively promoting the event within their church, business, or school. Their primary responsibility is to advocate for the fundraising event, motivate individuals to register as sponsored walkers and assist them through the “Fundeasy” process.

Banquet Fundraising Team- The team convenes annually from July to November to plan and execute the fundraising banquet effectively.

Building Maintenance Committee- The committee meets on an as-needed basis to address any required building maintenance. Additionally, it can be utilized for long-range planning regarding building upgrades and other related initiatives.

Prayer Team- Meets regularly to pray for the center, clients, staff, donors, ongoing events, and pro-life partners.

Prayer Text- Agree to receive texts as prayer is needed at the center to pray for clients, staff, volunteers, etc.

Board Member- Board members play a crucial role by offering guidance and support in areas such as finance, administration, and policy based on their individual areas of expertise.

Advisory Board Member- This board consists of individuals with distinct and valuable talents relevant to our organization. These individuals can be called upon throughout the year to provide their expertise as needed. The Advisory Board conducts an annual meeting where they receive updates from the Grace Place Executive Director as deemed appropriate.

Grace Place Ambassador- These individuals serve as ambassadors in their community, church, place of employment, neighborhood, etc., raising awareness of Grace Place and its services. They possess in-depth knowledge of our organization and its activities. We encourage this person to bring individuals to the center for tours, fundraising events, open houses, and other relevant activities.
